Class this week has been awesome! Up in my weights and feeling better than good. I have to kick the soda habit thou because it makes me muscles sad face. Today is Thursday which is my rest day and that sucks. I feel good and want to work out so maybe if I get off work before too late we will be able to make that happen. 5 more body sculpt classes before the big move.... Now I just have to get through these next few weeks and keep with it! Rock on everybody! And remember if it ain't hurtin it ain't workin!!!

Friday Fun Day
Today was fabulous! Class was something else. It was just pyramid after pyramid of ass whooping awesomeness. My bench weight is now 12lbs per arm and same with my flies. I think I sweat a whole tub of water but it felt good! Tomorrow is a day of rest and then shooting for Sunday morning yoga. Just remember to do something, it doesn't have to be everything. Just have fun and work hard!

Got fired numerous times today
Today did not include a traditional workout but I did move lawn furniture for 3 hours so... My hamstring is healing up nicely but I am definitely feeling the workout in my shoulders like crazy! Tomorrow we move more furniture but we do break up our day with another body sculpt class. It's gonna hurt like hell but I guess when it hurts is when you get stronger so bring on the pain baby! Have a great day and remember no matter how fast you go your still lapping everyone on the couch. And even if you don't have time to fit in a conventional workout there is always time to fit in a short walk or at least something. Keep up the great work. Until next time I'm signing off!

Just because you have an idea doesn't make it a good one...
I had a kick ass body sculpt class today. It was hard as hell but after Monday's class it felt like a walk in the park. My triceps are still screaming and my body is begging for more water but ill get there. After class and before work I decided it would be fun to try to do handstands and cartwheels. It was fun but it was not the brightest idea I've ever had. I pulled my hammy, so now my left leg has a pulled hip flexor and a pulled hamstring. I feel like part gimp. I'm gonna try to rest it as much as possible but tomorrow holds an ass ton of moving lawn furniture into storage, so we will see how that goes! Have a great day. Avoid injuries that are easily prevented and keep on keeping on.

Kickin...
Woke up this morning thinking it was more of a nap kind of day. But around 1630 I decided that I needed to get a good workout in so that I could feel better... My SIL said that she was subbing a kicking cardio class... It was all arms, punching and whoop ass! I am glad that I went because it mixed it up and it definitely lets out stress when your beating the shit out of a dummy. I definitely recommend it to anyone. Anyways... Keeping on kickin! -FS1

Routine, routine, routine
Getting back on a routine is killer. I went to Body Sculpt and let me tell you.. I have NEVER sweat so much in my whole life! I'm not sore now thou. I have kept my weights up and it feels great. My goal at this point is to be down another 20lbs by Christmas! It will be the first time I have ever weighed less than my husband, so wish me luck and if your on it just keep on trucking! They say no matter how slow you go you are still lapping everyone on the couch.

Been Gone Too Long
So as you may have figured I, FS1, stopped working out. Well I fell off the wagon there for a little while but I am back 19lbs lighter and loving it. I don't know when it was that I started up again but that doesn't matter, the only this that matters is that I am in it to win it... Haha. I took a week off of weights but I did see basically all of DC in 3 hours... So that has to count for something! Tomorrow I go back to my mid week ass whooping handed to me on a golden platter by my fantastic sister in law instructor. I will probably want to cry and I will definitely feel muscles I didn't know existed. But it is all worth it because I am seeing results; a little bicep muscle and down two jean sizes whoop, whoop! Well I am headed to bed so I can catch up on some shut eye but thanks for reading. It feels good to be back!!

Don't Know Who You're Calling Lazy Kid
Today kicked my butt. I have been skipping the morning workouts and annoying as it might be for FS2, sleeping in helps me to eat less because I am awake less hours. Anyways onto what I did today. Around 4 I dragged myself to the gym after a few days of light workouts and started on the elliptical. This was just to get the heart rate pumping and then I went to Body Pump. I decided to bump up the weights to see what it was like and it was greatness. I feel every muscle in my body. I ran into JJ at Body Pump and then we decided to stay for Body Combat which nicely handed my ass to me. It was a sweat party with all the cardio we were doing. Afterwards I thought I could keep going but I decided to spend some time at home relaxing and having some grub. After an episode of The Big Bang Theory and Whitney I began to feel restless so I decided I had one more trip to the gym in me. I powered through an hour of biking and walking and now I am completely exhausted. I burned about 1250 calories today and I'm feeling good. Wish I didn't have to take my weight for weight watchers once a week but it is nice to see the results. Just keeps getting better :)
No NO NO!
Oh no FS1... you don't get to get out of being a lazy kid and not wanting to wake up at 0515 to go workout. lol. You shall work out with me again! I haven't weighed yet. I'm determined not to do so until I feel fit. Then I can surprise myself with weight loss and/or no weight loss (meaning I would have picked up some muscle). There's no way I'm not losing fat working out this much! I'm back to 100% according to my PT unless something flares up so look out gym, here I come! I looked in the mirror today and was like... oh is that my tummy? It seems smaller. YAAAAAY!
Jessi is going to be a big help though. On Monday (my day off) we worked out not once, not twice, but THREE times! We went to three hour-long classes and it was great though my calves are still sore :(. Yesterday I was a morderate lazy-kid, but I jumped on the Body Pump early this morning and raised my weights across the board (sore already) so I'm feeling good about it. I may go for a run at lunch... who knows? :)
Anyhow. I've got to work and such so I'm done.

Still Going Strong
It is week 2, day 1 and we are still going strong. I have found that I enjoy working out more by myself at night. So FS2 and I have separated in a lot of the workouts that we do but our roommate JJ has stepped in to fill my spot. Overall since we began I am feeling a lot better health wise and it gives my anger a healthy outlet. Plus I am already down 1.7 lbs. I do need to kick up my cardio so I am thinking about biking everywhere until I feel like it is where it needs to be. I think that this was a very productive first week and I look forward to the many more weeks to come! Getting in shape has never felt this good.

From 3 trips to....
So I made it to the gym three times yesterday. First trip included a half mile jog and the Zumba. I didn't remember how difficult it was and how uncoordinated I look when I try to follow along. It may have looked like I was a big weirdo but it was a blast and then I ended the day with a couple of laps in the pool. My second trip, I dragged the hubbs along for a workout but I could only bring myself to do about a half mile jog and some abs. Lastly I got FS2 to go along for her first workout of the day and we did a few more laps in the pool. Overall I think that it was a fairly productive day. As far as today goes, I am slacking a bit... I think I will pull through and find the motivation to make it to the gym though. Wish me luck... And send FS2 lots of frowny faces, just because :)
Day ??? Who cares?
Hola! It's Friday. woot! That means I can summarize my week [M2, T1, W1, Th1, F2]
I'm getting into the groove of this new workout/work/class schedule. I had to break it down by hour into the 168 hours a week to fit it all. I'll share my schedule on here later.
I haven't been able to do two-a-days much this week. Got one in on Monday, but I don't have classes Monday and that means I'm off from 1730 on. That's the same thing today so I'll get my rear down to the gym post work.
My diet's been a bit iffy. I've been eating the majority of my meals while driving or while at work due to the constraints of my schedule, but once I pick up a few things from the grocery store this weekend (1300-1200 on Saturday lol) I will be ready to tackle this week without stopping to grab some comida rapida (fast food).
Anyhow, the rest of my life's going good. I took Thursday off to get caught up in my classes. Biology studying with SGT Lemos this weekend should get me ready for this test on Monday. Work's going good and I'm feeling much better since I started my physical therapy about 8 months ago. I'm finally able to work out 100% and I've progressed to the above workout schedule with my back pain staying below a 1 or 2 on the pain scale.
I'm optimist about life!

Wiped
I didn't think that I could ever be this tired. Went to Body Pump this morning and it was a blast, I think that I finally figured out the weights I need. So at least I can walk but FS2 has tomorrow off and I'm thinking that it is about time that we get to sleep in. We will see though she is kind of a nut about getting up early. Now I just have to decide what to do at the gym tonight. It is either Body Combat, a swim or a run... I guess all three is also a possibility. Ahh too many choices and way too tired to think! Good news is we get our shirts tomorrow or Friday, we will post pictures. They are going to be so awesomely obnoxious that you wont be able to handle it. You're welcome.

Calm Before The Storm
I made it to the gym for a second round this afternoon. I started out stretching in the dry sauna again to get my muscles loose. I had hoped to make it 2 miles but my legs decided that 1 mile would suffice. I think the second trip to the gym proved to be worth it. I can walk again, whoop whoop. Just in time because even though we might be half crazy we are going on round two of Body Pump. Wish us luck!
Miracle
Miracle on day 3; we made it to the gym. The body pump class that we took yesterday might have been a little harder than we thought because getting to the gym this morning proved to be a bigger challenge than expected. We decided to keep it light with a start in the sauna to warm up our muscles, some light stretching and then on to a mile walk. FS2 wins the award for self control today because she went for an apple instead of the much desired Jack in the Box that she passed three times on her way to work. Three cheers to day three!! Although my body is telling me no I am going to try to pull it together for a 2-mile run this afternoon. Wish me luck and keep on keeping on :)

Numero Dos
FS2 completely disagrees with FS1's estimation of the aforementioned class. I would like to say that it was a great class, perfectly geared towards MEEEEE! I loved the energy and the level of exercise. I may have started too high on the triceps (weights-wise) but it was great. I had some homework to do this fine evening so it was a mental/physical workout for me (i.e. I road the comfy bike and read as I did last night). This was cool with me except I unfortunately was unable to attend the BodyFlow class. That sounded fantastic with all the soreness and tightness I feel in my poor little body post-BodyPump this morning. That was an awesome start to a day and BodyFlow would have been a great way to wrap it up.
I do have to admit that I broke down this morning on my way into work. The siren-like call of Jack in the Box drew me in. I was too weak to resist, but resistance is what we're working towards, right? I guess you have to have a weak starting point to be MOST IMPROVED!!!
I will leave you with this: "OM NOM NOM PROTEIN SHAKE!"
Beautiful Morning
Our body pump instructor, Nancy, can officially be categorized as a BAMF. If I thought that I was a wimp when it came to weights before today I was extremely underestimating how lame I am. Nancy even made Fox Sierra 2 look like a weakling. Tonight we will be trying out Body Flow which is a mix between Tai Chi, Pilates and Yoga. This is going to be our idea of going "easy" on our muscles. In the mean time we will have to find a new way of getting to home and work due to Jack in the Box and the appeal that it has against Fox Sierra 2's better judgement. Two thumbs up to rockin' it on day numero dos, whoop!

Day Uno
Today will be noted as the first day in an epic journey to not be a fat sister any longer. It started out with a nice helping of whoop-ass from Junior, a trainer over at Axiom Gym. It felt so good that we couldn't just have one helping so we went back for more after what Fox Sierra 2 would call a little portion of a big fatty meal.
Every step is going to be a hurdle in its own and we're excited to meet them as they come and either jump over them or kick 'em over and keep going.
The first step will be getting Fox Sierra 1 to drag her lazy bum out of bed for our first organized fitness class tomorrow morning at Axiom. This will be a feat as Fox Sierra 2 believes that Fox Sierra 1 is somehow morally against any conscious existence in the early morning hours no matter the circumstances. Fox Sierra 1 swears that this will not be an issue for the "Don't Want to be a Fat Sister" program, but Fox Sierra 2 will withhold judgment until post-workout tomorrow morning at 0530-0645. :).
